We have many different views of marriage in America. The world's view, the media's view, and then the marriages in our family and friends. Just in the past week in Bible class I wrote and essay on marriages and the different views given to us of relationships. The worldly view of marriage is that it is all about the sexual part of the relationship and if it doesn't work out then it is alright to have a divorce. The media's view is that everything is happy and romanitc, but when something bad does go wrong it always comes out perfect in the end. My parent's marriage is one that is based around the Bible and God. I think that this is the true way to have a relationship.
Over all I think that marriages in America aren't as strong as they used to be. And most of the time good relationships are taken for granted. I am going to base my marriage upon the Bible and not be taken into the worldly view of relationships.

If My House Burnt Down: Blog 5
If my house caught on fire there are a few things that I would take right away. I would grab my Macbook, Guitar, and Bible. But of course before I took those I would make sure that my brother got out of the room safely. Over all I wouldn't be devastated about losing all of my things in a fire, except for that fact that many of them have memorable value. But one of the big things I would need to keep in mind is that I have treasures stored in Heaven. My earthly belongs are temporary, but God is keeping and saving treasures in Heaven for me. If you get to attached to your belongings they will control you and will become first in your life. If you treasures are hear on Earth then your heart will be of the World, but if your treasures are in Heaven then your heart will be with God.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

Elementry School Memory: Blog 4
Well, I probably don't have the same type of memories that other kids would have because of my being homeschooled all my life up to last year. But homeschooling doesn't mean that I don't have interesting memories.
When I was about in 2nd grade, or some where around there, I would have every day folders which contained that work I had to complete for that days work. I particularly did not enjoy my writing worksheets. So I thought up a plan of how to not have to do the work. I decided to try throwing the worksheet away and try to get away with it. Crumbling up the paper I chucked into the trash can. Later, when my mom went through my work checking it and going over things I needed help with, she discovered that something was missing. She turned to me and asked where my writing was. I reluctantly walked over to the garbage can and pulled out the crumbled and distorted piece of paper. Actually I forget if or what my punishment was. But from now on I haven't thrown away a single writing assignment.

One of my Earliest Memories/ Blog #3
Well there lots of memories that I have from when I was younger. The majority of them are quite funny. So I will choose of my favorites.
One day after lunch it was time for me to take a nap. So I headed up to parents room to partake of my nap in their bed. Every time I went into their bed I like trying to find the feathers sticking out of their feather pillow. Well this one time I decided to see how many I could pull out. So I was up their just tugging away at the feathers and throwing them on the floor. After awhile I realized that I had made a huge mess, so I got out of bed and shoved them under the bed. When my parents came to check on me they saw a few feathers on the floor, as they bent down to pick them up they saw the whole jackpot of them hidden under the bed. Well you can probably guess what I had to do next. They made me pick up every last feather and put them in the garbage can.
That was one mistake I never made again.

Blog #2
"Was there ever a time in your life when something went differently then what you had planned? Was it for the better or was it for the worse?"This summer I worked at the school doing maintenance things and working with the janitors. At first I didn't have an idea of what I wanted to save up for, but towards the end of the summer I came up with an idea. I would save up for a Mac computer for school and also my movie making. I usually would use my sister's laptop, but it was about time I got my own computer so I wouldn't bog her's down with all my videos.
In the beginning of September I was ready to purchase the computer. I had decided to get a desktop instead of a laptop. My dad and I sat down to order it and we were all set when my mom brought up the idea that a wait another month to let the idea settle. I was so mad at her for interfering and ruining my plans. Of course dad then agreed with her and the purchasing of the computer was postponed.
During that month I really did a lot of thinking about if I really wanted a desktop. After thinking about it I decided that it would actually be better to get a laptop. Because of portable reasons.
So thanks to mom I have a MacBook Pro laptop instead of an iMac desktop. You can definitely say that this situation turned out for the better.

Spiritual Emphasis
This year was my second spiritual emphasis week and it was a great year. I saw God work in many ways amongst the student body.
On the second day of Spiritual Emphasis week God gave me an image which clarified and grew throughout the week. The image was of a river, which represented God. And I was wading into the river only about up to my knees. God was telling me I need to jump in and get swept away by Him and fully serve Him. I no longer should be lukewarm, but hot for God.

My Dream/Goal: Blog #1
Ever since I was little I have had dreams of what I wanted to be when I grew up. A few of the jobs I remember are park ranger, policeman, air force pilot, and my most recent is a veterinarian. But now that I am older and getting closer to college, I have really started to contemplate what I want to do with my life. Over the summer I worked a couple times
with my grandpa, who owns a carpentry business. I have found myself to really enjoy the trade and my grandpa wants me eventually to take over the family business. Over the summer I also made a couple movies with my brother and friend. Filming and editing has always been what I love to do.
Now for my dream. My dream is to go to college for business and videoing/editing. I will then work with my grandpa and do filming on the side for churches and small companies. And then maybe someday I will become the owner of Four Square Construction.
